Today's world is a globally interconnected, dynamic, fast-paced, and complex ecosystem. All of us are interconnected individuals within this global system where the need for being adaptable has hardly been more pressing.
Adaptive capacity reflects our ability to adapt. By building our adaptive capacity, we can more readily adapt to the rapidly changing world around us leading to many benefits for ourselves, our family, our business, and our communities.
This survey is completely anonymous and was created as an extension of Dr. Fossey's research into senior leadership team adaptability. The Adaptability Index section asks you to self-report, using a Likert scale (i.e., choose the best option from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree) how you generally think of and approach adaptability. The Proactivity Index section asks you to self-report, using the same Likert scale (Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree) how you generally approach and think of proactivity. The result will be a numerical, theoretical index we can use to provide insight into how you currently approach adaptability. This provides a starting point from which to begin the journey of building adaptive capacity. By understanding where we are, we can define strategies to help us go to where we want to be.
The survey is anonymous but asks you general demographic questions about yourself. This data will eventually allow us to provide feedback that compares your scores to other people like you. People usually take between 5-10 minutes to complete all the questions on the survey. If, at any time, you feel uncomfortable, you can stop taking the survey by simply leaving the survey. Leaving the survey does not cause any issues.
When you are ready, click the “Take the Survey” button below to continue to the survey.
The CRCBA will continue this line of research to help refine our collective insights about how people approach adaptability. The results of your survey may be used in future research projects.
If you have any questions or concerns about how the data are being used, or have additional questions about the research and/or about building adaptive capacity, please do not hesitate to Contact us.
